“This home was built with a laid-back style,” says listing agent Martie Lieberman. “It’s solid, good architecture focused on the space itself. This particular style focused on making sure every wall slid open so you could go outside.”
That seamless transition from indoors to the outdoors is a signature element of the Sarasota School of Architecture design. “People are used to seeing it,” says Lieberman, “and one of the things I always hear when showing this house is, ‘look at those corners!’”
Crown molding is a nice accent, but sometimes it’s used to cover up less than stellar handiwork.
“The corners in this house are so precise and so perfect,” Lieberman says, “[there’s] no need to cover them up.”
