Salem, MA

Built 12 years before the start of the Salem witch trials, a home just down the street from Salem’s Witch History Museum is the oldest home to go up for sale this week on Realtor.com®.

The Colonial in the center of town was witness to the town’s most infamous moments. Over three centuries later, the cozy home with a pink front door and modern interiors is far removed from those dark days all those centuries ago.

Many properties on this week’s list of oldest homes began as dusty taverns or rustic farmhouses and have emerged hundreds of years later as grand properties steeped in history and ready for the centuries ahead.

We won’t ask you to reread “The Crucible,” but we do request you take a gander at all of this week’s oldest homes for sale.
